Spread the bacon on a baking sheet and bake in a 200°C oven until golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes. Slice the banana into half-inch thick slices.

Spread the slices of bread on a work surface and brush with peanut butter. Arrange the bacon on half of the bread. Spread the banana slices on top of the bacon. Place the remaining bread slices, buttered side down, on top of the slices.

Fry the breads over medium heat in a generous amount of butter until nicely browned on both sides and serve.
