AIMING NET ZERO FOR ALL GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS BY 2050
Our goal is to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. We have already implemented dozens of climate initiatives that both reduce emissions and enhance carbon sinks. We are committed to developing our food chain from farms to consumers also from environmental perspective, where new ways of producing food are part of the solution to climate change.

Building a more climate-friendly way of producing food
We make food from responsibly produced raw materials in the middle of the cleanest nature in the world. Fresh air, abundant water resources and a high level of expertise available make the Baltic Sea region an excellent place for responsible food production.
Animal health and wellfare
We know where our meat comes from and how the animals are raised. By working closely with farmers and sourcing directly from their farms, we ensure transparency in farming conditions and animal care. Animal welfare is a top priority for our farmers, as it supports healthy growth and high-quality products. Laws and regulations also uphold the highest standards of animal welfare in Finland.
